Morphine is good...unless your in ICU with 3 skull fractures on Ash Wednesday and you wake-up in a drug-induced fog to find nuns standing over you putting ash on your forehead...thought I was going to the other side, lmao.

Thanks for the advice all.

I remembered I had a detailed print-out of Lily's medical records for insurance, the general invoices did not state the drugs used. After checking those records, she was put under 3 times and it appears the vet used a combination of ketamine, Isoflourane gas, and a couple of other drugs as posted. So I guess he is up to speed on the drugs. I think I knew this, but it was also confirmed by another vet, it appears the amount of anesthesia matters more than the particular drugs which are used. I also like the heart monitor idea and I will check into that for sure.

bri...this may be useful to you and others...if you need to revive the dog instead of just letting it sleep it off and come to naturally...use yohimbine hydrochloride injectable solution the dog will be awake in 5 minutes
