My neo is 5months and almost 50 lbs. I live in the NYC area and cannot find eagle pack food anywhere. I wanted to transition to that and I'm getting frustrated. Can anyone please recommend a more common name brand of food that I could feed my pup? Also, any recommendations regarding a feeding schedule. Right now he gets 2 cups in the morning, 1 cup for lunch and 2 cups at night. He's thin but not too thin and I'm afraid of over feeding. Lastly, my little guy loves water and will drink every last drop no matter how much is in his bowl and he never leaves any for next time. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!!!

First did you do a search on their web site for retailer's in your area. There are over 100 retailer's in the metro area. If that doesn't work then I would find a food that is nutritionally equal and reputable. From what I can tell most everyone on this site have ultra health and beautiful dog's and I'm sure that most have a favorite diet program for there dog's and rarely will any match letter for letter. I have found quite a few very good foods for my dogs and learned alot about them from this site and the research tool's I found here. What I think it come's down to is availability, price and convienience. I used this site to help determine which food I should be feeding ; http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/ I hope it helps.

By the way, this is the link to the eagle pack retailer search page; http://www.eaglepack.com/retailer_search/

There are literally HUNDREDS of stores in NY that sell good dog food. Off hand I'd suggest Petco (which carries the entire Mother Hubbard line, as well as Castor and Pollux, and Natural Balance)

Whiskers (on 9th street) specializes in holistic and natural dog food, and they deliver!

Beasty Feast has a huge selection and 3 locations

I can list more if you need them but those are all fabulous places to get food in the city. Check em out!
