 | Carrie. I am glad you caught it in time...And am sorry you had to go through such a scare. Everyone does have a theory as to why the dog gets bloat...No matter the means...Air gets trapped, when the stomach twists, the air and other gases from disgestion have no where to go so th stomach just expands...The rest you know... Since this did just happen recently definitely feed small frequent meals, in a calm environment so that your neo doesn't feel the need to rush. Also keep in mind that this can happen if water is gulped up quickly too...There was one dog that came into the vet too who got bloat just from exercise (bit of a freaky situation).
