I always use a malaseb shampoo when they get baths its great, they dont have skin problems but it gives them a good clean! And ACV is superb, my gucci had bloat and had an operation, they tied his stomach up to the side(forgot the name) and he was sick all the time with this , my husband bought some ACV and he has never been sick again, also they have better appetities, and better number 2's , its also great for when my frago got a infection in his paw, i bathed it in diluted ACV and worked miracles, i give all my dogs 10ml per day in there water bowls and or on top of there food. Me too Carrie, I am a great believer in apple cider vinegar...
I use it all the time as a cleanser for wounds diluted with water and sprayed on so it washes everything out, it must sting like hell but like Starr says it's a natural antibiotic ....
If i run out of disinfectant i pour a bit into my mop bucket...
I also use it as a fly repellant: 1 cup of Cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon of citrinella half a cup of soft & gentle conditioner, 2 teaspoons of a gentle liquid soap 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil 1 litre of strong cold tea pop it into a sprayer and voila!!! It needs to be shaken every time before use... I spray it around the kennels, on the dogs and my horse, it gives a healthy sheen to their coats too...

Does anyone know where I can obtain a 5 liter or big container of the brown ACV??
I love the stuff.. Only can find in little bottles here in NW Indiana..
I love the natural remedies. We have had a little prob with yeast and staph, so I guess we need to get back to this. Looking forward to this. And thanks, Karen, for that fly repellent... Will get all that stuff, and use it!
