I would say you were seeing a lot of gas in the stomach, nothing to do with worms, they can have a pot bellied look to them but it would be all the time, plus other signs as well, poor hair coat, underweight, a retching cough, from the pics she looks to be in great health if she has worms it would be normal amounts, I would say gas OR she just ate a lot. I have not heard of anyones dog bloating on meat, I guess it could happen as a dog can bloat on a empty stomach, now if it was kibble she had ate I would be really worried.

But you say she was gassy as well, so something was going on. I have only seen one actually bloat in front of me, others I have found either already bloating or dead of bloat. It happens scarey fast, from normal dog to something so distorted it didnt look real in about 30 seconds once that happens your on borrowed time, if your close to your vet you start driving and call from the car if far you can pop gas x or better liquid sim if the stomach hasnt twisted, and worst case you can take a needle and puncture the stomach to relieve some pressure until you get some help.

Personaly I would have an elective gastrioplexy done, if it was truelly a bloat where you got lucky and the gas passed she will do it again sooner or later, next time might be full on and your not home, I hate to scare people but I have found if they do it once they will do it again. Maybe within a short time of the first situation which is more normal but I had one who was fine for almost 2 years and bloated again and didnt make it, looking back I should of elected to have the gastrio done right away.

Of all things potentially causing death in our breed I would say bloat by far is number one, I know that has been the case with my own dogs and you hear about it so much. Your case is strange because I have not heard of anyone bloating on raw, but stranger things can happen, I wouldnt worry to much about her belly, it sounds like it got large but I have seen mine eat a ton of meat and look very big, the belly hangs down and not out to the side, but the gas does worry me.

Since I have bloodhounds and neos both breeds bloat, I try and feed a less grain food and also supplement with a product called dogzymes digestive inhancer, since starting this I havent seen anyone attempt to even get extra air, it could be the bad luck is over or the product really works

Results are good so I keep feeding it, also they sell liquid Simethicone which can buy you a lot of time, plus they have bloat kits, you may never use them but in a situation they are nice to have and anyone who owns a breed prone to bloat needs one, I have two sets one I keep at home and the other goes with me and everyone knows what to do in case of bloat.
