18 months ago, Cass my 9 year old female, developed a lump on her vulva. it developed quickly within 2/3 days from a small wart like growth slightly bigger than a pin head, (that had been there for years) to an angry red boil like lump the size of a ping pong ball.

After removal the vet told us it was a very agrressive type of cancer, and if there was no signs of it returning within 6 months in all likely hood it would not return.

Two months ago we found another lump, this time in her groin, because of her age we feel the op would be stressful and invasive for her.

She has slowed down and i think this is mostly to do with her age than anything else, i am looking for signs all the time that she maybe in pain and upto now there have been none.

However, this week she has started being sick (bile) at least 3/4 times a day now, it does not seem to be upsetting her but obviously it is not nice, and i just wondered if anyone can advise something which will help her feel more comfortable.

Please note: I will know when it is her time to be PTS and will not hesitate to do so.

Karen , the first thing that comes to mind is Gravel , I have used it for car sickness with my blood hound in the past .( not sure it would help with bile )
my Dad died of cancer and had a bile issue on the onset that was related to his ( i am never going to spell this right so i will just sound it out) asphagos? he was on anti nausients .sorry to hear about your girl.

Thanks mel, Oscar,
This is gonna be a hard one.... she is our first love...

I've just started giving her an arrowroot and ginger biscuit every now-and -again, that Sophie (my 14 year old daughter) is making specially for her, but can't say it's making a noticeable difference, she is at the vet this week so i will ask about the gravel / asphagos.. Thanks
