Thank you for the advice. I told them about maybe being calcium deficient also. Sadly, they had to put the rest of the puppies down last night. They weren't holding a temperature. The emergency vet said they had some virus. They told me what it was, but it was long. It's a kennel virus that kennel bred dogs get. They are thinking the Beagle gave it to puppies and mom. The emergency vet wants the mom and the Beagle to come in on Monday since it is a weekend to get them tested and vaccinated against it. Mom, however, was much more alert and at the door when I just went over there a minute ago. She is wagging her tail which is a good sign that she's ready to eat again. I plan on going over there for the next couple of days to love on the poor girl. She is still deathly skinny by looking at her. She's too sweet of a dog to be treated the way they do.
