Those prices you are paying are unheard of in my area (NY) I just got quoted $900.00 for Brandos' surgery and that was WITH my "professional courtesy" discount! I do not mind paying for quality medical care but do you really need to inflate prices that much?? Oh well, hopefully he will have his surgery done before the end of the week, and I will see him smiling again, not squinting which just makes me want to cry!

Thanks again you guys.

The suggested mark up on most things at the vet is 40%...But everyone varies from there.

The price difference is nuts...I am lucky to get cost...or less if just a regular check-up...During surgeries really the only cost is the anesthesia, and the surgeons time...
